Episode 43 – Perfectionism with Health Habits

When I was deeply entrenched in elimination diets, intermittent fasting, and militant workouts it’s because I thought diet and exercise determined the majority of my health outcomes. 

And I thought pursuing optimal health would not only prevent me from having to endure the human experience (fatigue, cellulite, autoimmune susceptibility, insecurity, etc) but would also make me look like a cover model from Women’s Health magazine.

 I could guarantee those bitches never felt anxiety and had daily orgasms from their emotionally available partners. 

And I wanted that life.

Seeking perfection, while it makes total sense, never gives us the results we’re hoping for. 

It keeps us hustling for something we unconditionally already have – our self-worth.
